Pilot Program

The Early Childhood Development program (ECD) is a Pilot Project of Ama Nepal, where small children from age 3 to 5 are taken care of by a special trained teacher.
Its objectives is mainly improvement of child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and energetic activities so as to make them able beforehand to enroll into formal education in the future and to create good environment for elder children (specially for the girls) in the learning activity, so as elder children can be free from their younger and are able to go to school without any problem.

As ECDs are established in rural areas another advantage is freedom to parents as they can get more free time for their work. Thus, more work more money and obviously betterment of their economical status.
